What is the Well?

If you are a young adult in the Hudson area it might feel like most of the community around you is geared to the needs and sensibilities of families with children. Sometimes it seems that if your kids are younger or if you don’t have any children, there aren’t many opportunities to make connections with other adults in your same situation. Maybe you’ve found that the teaching style and atmosphere of the churches you’ve visited don’t encourage dialogue or questions about faith in the context of your daily reality.

That’s why we’ve created “The Well” - a new service that is looking to speak to a younger congregation. If any of the statements above sound familiar to you, you might want to check out The Well. The Well meets weekly on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm and we’d love to have you worship and learn with us.

Authentic

First, we’ll strive to be authentic in our relationships because they are rooted in the one true source of authenticity – God himself.

Story

Second, we’ll seek to help people see their connection to the great story of all that God has done throughout history, is doing now and will do in the future.

Healing

Third, we’ll pursue healing of the whole person through a personal relationship with Christ.

Kindred

And, finally, our desire is that the people of The Well will experience all of this as kindred – more as a family than a religious organization.
